Eagle Rider Road Rules
The following is a list of Eagle Rider road rules that will apply and be strictly adhered to on any sanctioned Eagle
Riders ride of any size. These are common sense rules but must be posted for everyone's safety. If a rule is ignored by any rider involved, a Road Captain must be notified and the incident will be addressed. This is everyone's responsibility. A ride waiver will be signed by everyone participating in an Eagle Riders ride. This acknowledges that these road rules wil be followed and obeyed.
1. All posted speed limits, traffic signs, and traffic laws will be followed.
2. All Eagle Riders will be escorted by a road captain in the front, middle, and the end of the group.
3. Riders will travel in a staggered pattern on double lane roads and follow single file on one lane roads.
4. Absolutely no passing of other riders or lane switching will be tolerated.
5. Any actions such as wheelies, burnouts, excessive speed, or recklessness of any type will not be tolerated and the rider of such actions will be asked to leave immediately. There are no exceptions.
6. Hand signals are to be used at all times. Make sure that if a passenger is riding with you, that the passenger is familiar with all riding hand signals. All passengers are to understand that it is their responsibility to use those signals and to notify the riders following you.
7. Blocking on non - busy country roads will be used occasionally. A road captian will signal for the rider to act as a blocker at the
intersection. The blocker will join the rear of the ride after all riders are safely through the intersection and in front of the end road captian. A designated road captain will always be the last rider. (see rule 2)
8. Excessive drinking will not be tolerated before or during a ride. If a rider is intoxicated or becomes intoxicated during a ride, a road captain will ask the rider to excuse himself from the ride and then escort the intoxicated rider to a safe loaction.
NOTE: If an Eagle Rider sees this it is his / her responsibility to report the intoxicated rider to a road captain for everyone's safety inluding that of the intoxicated rider, after all we are "People Helping People".
9. All riders must sign a waiver to be eligible to ride on an Eagle Riders ride.
10. Any passengers under the age of eighteen must have a waiver signed by a leagal guardian to be eligible to ride on an Eagle Riders ride. No riders under the age of twenty one (21) will be able to operate a motorcycle on a Eagle Riders ride.
11. A motorcycle must be in good operating condition to participate with an Eagle Rider ride. Any mechanical issues that would endanger the rider or other participants will not be allowed to ride on an Eagle Riders ride.
12. No Motorcycle Club or Support apparel will be allowed to be worn on ANY Eagle Rider rides or activites. This is strictly group safety issue and there are NO exceptions.
13. All rides by the Eagle Riders will leave as a group and return as a group.
14. All Eagle Riders members are subject to the Aeries established by-laws.
